The Timothy Initiative, a US-based missionary organisation, has been accused of being involved in religious conversions by BJP's Chhattisgarh unit. It is alleged to have funnelled ₹95 crore in India by bypassing foreign funding norms. A case was filed against the outfit on ED's complaint under anti-terror law UAPA as investigators are looking into the matter from national security angle.
