After US prosecutors charged Gautam Adani in an alleged bribery and fraud scheme, Kenyan President William Ruto ordered cancellation of a procurement process expected to hand control of the country's main airport to Adani Group. Ruto also directed the cancellation of a 30-year, $736-million public-private partnership deal signed with a unit of Adani Group to construct power transmission lines.
