Resolution to impeach Trump rejected

US House of Representatives has rejected a Democratic attempt to impeach President Donald Trump over his administration's immigration crackdown and deadly shootings involving federal immigration agents. The House voted 232-147 to table the resolution, effectively preventing it from advancing. Eighteen Democrats voted with Republicans to table it, saying impeachment required more investigation.
