I'll take buyout offer but won't work until I leave in Dec: 'Top performing' Microsoft employee

A Microsoft employee who claimed to have received top performance rating said he plans to accept its voluntary exit package but "won't be doing any work" until his departure in December. He urged employees at a workplace forum to decide early and use their remaining time to prepare for interviews. Microsoft's exit offer covers over 25% of its total workforce.
