Over one lakh clean bedrolls, which include 2 lakh bedsheets, 1 lakh pillow covers and face towels each, are supplied to trains running in Western Railways every day, Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek said. The quantity is equivalent to supplying bedrolls at 1 lakh hotel rooms, he added. He further said that the cleaning is done in four steps.
