Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, while representing Meghalaya government, argued during hearing of Sonam Raghuvanshi's bail that "these instances have increased". Referring to alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal, he said, "Recently, a woman killed her husband (fiancée) because he was wearing a wig." Supreme Court refused to cancel bail granted to Sonam, accused of killing her husband during honeymoon.
