Nobel Prize money increased

The Nobel Prize amount has been increased by SEK 1 million to SEK 12 million (around ₹11.6 crore) per category in 2026, Nobel Foundation said. The hike comes as the Nobel Prize marks its 125th anniversary this year. The prize amount was cut from SEK 10 million to SEK 8 million in 2012 and has since been raised three times.
