Banks are preparing to classify loans worth ₹35,000 crore made to Srei group as non-performing assets (NPA) in September quarter, Mint reported. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) had set aside NCLT's order restraining banks from such classification. Indian Bank has an exposure of ₹2,000 crore, while, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank have an exposure of ₹800 crore each.
