Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved a new Vande Bharat Sleeper train between Bengaluru and Mumbai. He confirmed the approval in a letter to Karnataka MP PC Mohan. This will be the second Vande Bharat Sleeper train in the country. The first one was launched in January 2026 and operates between Kolkata and Guwahati, reducing travel time by six hours.
