Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet has increased the existing excise duty on all hard liquor by 15%, to be paid before the import or removal from the manufacturer. The excise duty for military or paramilitary units shall be 50% of the rates of the excise duty fixed. The decision will lead to Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) being costlier in the state.
