A day after Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, was attacked with stones and eggs, the party called a key meeting. However, only 20 out of TMC's 80 elected MLAs attended it, suggesting discontent in the party. TMC's Kunal Ghosh claimed that the MLAs were busy organising protests in their areas and the meeting has been postponed.
