5 killed in car-truck collision on NH-15 in Assam

Five people died after a Maruti Suzuki Eeco van collided head-on with a truck on NH-15 in Assam's Sonitpur district late Friday night. The accident occurred near Balipara under Rangapara Police Station. Two died on the spot; three succumbed during treatment. The truck driver fled the scene. Police are investigating.
