Vodafone Idea shares surge 75% in FY27 on government support

Vodafone Idea shares have risen around 75% in FY27, from ₹8.53 to ₹14.96 on the NSE. The stock has also gained over 60% in six months, rising from ₹9.27 to ₹14.96. Experts say the rise is mainly due to government support, including converting the company's dues to the government into equity and reducing the pressure of spectrum payments.
