Team India opener Abhishek Sharma on Sunday created history by smashing the fastest-ever T20I fifty on Indian soil. The 25-year-old took 14 balls to score his half-century in the third T20I against New Zealand in Guwahati. Overall, it is the second-fastest fifty by an Indian after Yuvraj Singh's 12-ball fifty against England in Durban in 2007.
