US has initiated a process to revoke the citizenship of 12 citizens, including an Indian-American man, Debashis Ghosh, involved in an alleged $2.5 million (₹23 crore) fraud. Ghosh conspired to defraud investors of money intended for construction of an aircraft maintenance facility, US Justice Department said. He began the fraud before being naturalised, and continued it after becoming a citizen.
