5-star hotels raided by food dept in Bengaluru; expired milk, rotten vegetables seized
Karnataka’s Food Safety wing conducted raids at five-star hotels in Bengaluru to inspect hygiene standards, storage facilities and food quality. During one such inspection, officials seized around 20 litres of expired milk and found rotten vegetables, reports said. The department has deployed 30 special teams and warned that serious violations could lead to the suspension of licences.
