EU is planning to fine Google a high triple-digit million amount as part of antitrust investigations, German newspaper Handelsblatt reported. The fine will reportedly be the largest of its kind imposed by EU for a breach of its Digital Markets Act. EU had started investigating Google in March 2025 over concerns that Google favours its own services in search results.
