EU proposes banning social media for kids under 13

European Union has proposed banning social media for children under 13 across the bloc to keep them safe from online dangers, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen announced. The proposed 'EU Kids Act', which also states that accounts for children aged 13 to 15 will be under parental control, will be negotiated with EU countries before it can become law.
