NITI Aayog and India SME Forum launched "A Million Women Arise" initiative to empower women entrepreneurs across India. Ministry of MSME Director (IC&WEC) Ankita Pandey said that "women-owned businesses make up 35% of country's MSMEs but face challenges like gender bias". SME Forum President Vinod Kumar said that collaboration aims to provide knowledge and support to aspiring women entrepreneurs.

US President Donald Trump said he has written to Iranian leadership, hoping to negotiate a deal regarding Iran's nuclear weapons programme. "If we have to go in militarily it's going to be a terrible thing for them (Iran)," Trump said in an interview. He added, "We have to do something...you can't let them have another nuclear weapon."

The Gauhati High Court on Friday granted anticipatory bail to YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani in connection with a case filed by the city police over 'India's Got Latent' row. The court had granted interim bail in the case to Ashish on February 18. The FIR was registered by the city police on February 10.
