A lawsuit in the US has accused Apple of falsely claiming that three versions of its Watches released in 2023 were "carbon neutral". The lawsuit claimed that Apple's two carbon offsetting projects did not provide "genuine" carbon reductions. Seven customers, who filed the lawsuit, said they wouldn't have bought the Watches or would've paid less had they known the truth.
