Landmark trial, which could change how Facebook & Instagram operate, begins in US

A landmark trial over claims made by US states that Facebook and Instagram are designed to addict young users has begun in US. Ex-Meta executive Arturo Bejar, the case's first witness, told the court that Meta ignored his warnings that the platforms were harming children. Cornell Professor James Grimmelmann said the trial could change the way the two platforms operate.
