The Supreme Court on Wednesday closed the criminal case against late Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and five others in Talabira-II coal block allocation matter. It set aside a 2015 Special CBI Court order summoning them and accepted CBI’s two closure reports. The court said there was no valid reason to reject reports or take cognisance of the alleged offences.
