Water can evaporate even without heat using only light: Study
short by Ashley Paul / on Friday, 26 April, 2024
A new study has discovered that water can evaporate using a process called photomolecular effect. The effect is strongest when light hits water surface at a 45-degree angle or has transverse magnetic polarisation.
