Japanese automaker Nissan could call off merger talks with rival Honda after the latter proposed that it become a subsidiary, as per reports. The new proposal differs from the original plan announced last year under which both planned to establish a holding company. Nissan's board will reportedly meet soon to discuss calling off the merger talks.
