Where can one legally prepare and sign a Will in India?

A Will may be prepared and signed outside the property's city. A Delhi resident can use one Will for assets in multiple states if legally entitled to bequeath them. For an ordinary Will under the Indian Succession Act, an adult testator must be of sound mind and have it attested by two witnesses. Beneficiaries may later need local transfer formalities.
