Hamdan Ballal, co-director of Oscar-winning 'No Other Land', has been assaulted by Israeli settlers in the West Bank, Variety reported, citing a Palestinian journalist. The attack left his brother hospitalised and led to the arrest of four family members. In March 2025, Ballal and his family were attacked by the same settlers who targeted him after his Oscar win.
