Director Ashwni Dhir's 18-year-old son Jalaj and his friend Sarthak Kaushik were killed in a car accident during a joyride in Mumbai's Vile Parle. Their friends Sahil Mendha, who was driving the car, and Jedan Jimmy survived. The police arrested Sahil after Jedan's complaint. The accident occurred when Sahil rammed the car into a divider at over 120-kmph speed.
