Apple eyes blacklisted Chinese firm's chips as it hikes product prices: Report

Apple is lobbying US administration for approval to buy memory chips from CXMT, a Chinese firm blacklisted by Pentagon, FT reported. The move is aimed at easing financial pressure on iPhone-maker amid soaring memory chip prices, which have forced it to raise prices for several products. Apple said it could no longer shield customers from rising memory and storage costs.
