Presidency University expels 2 students over Vivekananda poster defacement

Kolkata's Presidency University expelled two female students for writing abusive remarks on a Swami Vivekananda poster and using derogatory language against other organisations. The decision followed an inquiry committee's review of CCTV footage. The expelled students are barred from academic activities and future degree programmes at the institution. ABVP had filed a police complaint over the October 13 incident.
