Heavy rain lashed Pune on Thursday due to which a flood-like situation was reported in several parts of the city. Ranjana Navnath Giri, a 60-year-old woman, lost her life in Sinhagad Road area after a tree collapsed due to strong winds. Areas like Kondwa, Uttamnagar, Dapodi, Sinhagad Road, Kothrud and Pimpri-Chinchwad reported heavy waterlogging, with several roads submerged.
