She achieved the feat on Day 2 of the one-off Test match against India in Perth on Saturday, scoring 76 runs off 116 balls. Perry has amassed 1,006 runs in 15 Tests, surpassing former Australia captain Karen Rolton, who had scored 1,002 runs in 14 Tests.
