The Supreme Court refused to pass any order on a plea challenging the entry of VIPs into temples. CJI Sanjiv Khanna said that although the bench may agree with the issue raised, the case "is not fit to either adjudicate or pass any directions in this regard". The top court asked state authorities to take decisions they may find appropriate.
