US is expected to send 3,000 to 4,000 soldiers from US Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, Reuters reported citing two people familiar with the matter. However, it is not known where in Middle East the troops would go. Earlier, a report said that US is making detailed plan for deployment of ground troops in Iran.
