Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the CoBRA Operations Base at Karanpur in Chhattisgarh's Bastar to celebrate Diwali with security personnel and pay tribute to soldiers who laid down their lives. The base served as a training ground and launchpad for counter-Naxal operations in Bastar and Abujhmad. "This Diwali is truly special," Modi said, calling it India's first Naxalism-free Diwali.
