The hottest city in India on Tuesday was UP's Banda as it recorded a temperature of 45.6°C, IMD said. It was followed by Odisha's Jharsuguda (45.3°C), Akola and Amraoti (Maharashtra), both of which recorded a temperature of 45.2°C, followed by Wardha (45.0°C). Khajuraho and Chandrapur recorded a temperature of 44.8°C, and Sidhi had a temperature of 44.6°C on Tuesday.
