Two major Hindu temples in Canada have sought government protection after pro-Khalistan groups called for rallies outside their premises on Sunday. Yudhishthir Dhanrajh, spiritual leader of Triveni Mandir in Brampton, said Peel Regional Police have assured continuous presence on the day. In 2024, Khalistani separatists had attacked devotees at Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton.
