Forward Seamen's Union of India (FSUI) shared a video and said that 35-year-old Second Officer Nishanth Uirthanathan died on MT Celestial off the coast of Oman after falling ill. Despite repeated calls, medical evacuation was delayed amid regional tensions, it said. Urging authorities to act immediately, it said, "Crew is using cold water bottles in desperate attempt to slow decomposition."
