Rescuers on Sunday pulled a father and his son alive from the rubble 96 hours after twin earthquakes struck Venezuela. They were found buried under the debris in La Guaira, the province worst hit by the earthquakes. The authorities said the 7.2 and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes killed at least 1,450, with nearly 50,000 people still missing.
