Rishabh Pant has resigned as LSG captain after they finished last on the IPL 2026 points table. "Rishabh requested to be relieved of his captaincy duties and the franchise has accepted his request with immediate effect," LSG said in a statement. LSG had bought Pant for ₹27 crore in IPL 2025 auction.
