A man from US' California sued OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman, alleging that the firm's AI chatbot ChatGPT worsened his bipolar disorder. The man alleged that ChatGPT escalated a manic episode he had into a delusion and validated his belief that he was Jesus. The lawsuit further claims that despite knowing his illness, ChatGPT pushed to keep him engaged.
