About 89,000 unionised workers at Samsung Electronics in South Korea will start voting on Friday on a new pay deal. The government-mediated agreement was reached on Wednesday and is viewed as beneficial for both the company and its chip employees. It includes a provision for all chip workers to receive a cash bonus equal to 50% of their annual salary.
