The post-mortem report of Prateek Yadav has revealed that he died due to "cardiorespiratory collapse" caused by "massive pulmonary thromboembolism". It implies that a blood clot formed in the lower part of his body and travelled upwards, leading to complications in the arteries and lungs. The report added that six antemortem (before death) injuries were also found on the body.
