A US Air Force F-15E pilot was shot down twice within 33 days during Iran war, reports stated. Pilot was first brought down in friendly fire by Kuwait on March 1 and later by Iranian surface-to-air missile on April 3. Pilot reportedly became first US Air Force fixed-wing aviator to survive two combat shootdowns in same conflict since Vietnam War.
