Bengaluru students build AI deepfake video detector

Four students from East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru, developed an AI-powered web app to detect deepfake videos. The tool uses ResNeXt50 and LSTM networks to analyze video frames for digital manipulation. The team is working to improve speed and support more formats, aiming to combat misinformation from synthetic media.
