Novak Djokovic to return to China Open after 11-year absence

Twenty four-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will return to the China Open after an 11-year absence, the 39-year-old announced on Wednesday. This comes after Djokovic slipped seven places to world number 12 following his first-round US Open 2026 exit. The men's draw at the ATP 500 event in Beijing will take place from September 30 to October 6.
