108 cities exceeding PM10 limit for 3 straight yrs: Govt data

The data shared by the Centre in Parliament showed that 108 cities under the National Clear Air Programme (NCAP) exceeded the prescribed PM10 limit in each of the last three financial years. Maharashtra topped the list with 19 such cities, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 16. PM10 refers to fine particulate matter in air that can enter the respiratory system.
