RBI on Monday imposed a penalty of ₹31.8 lakh on Airtel Payments Bank for not disclosing some customer complaints in its annual financial statements. RBI issued a notice after findings of non-compliance during a statutory inspection of the bank. RBI said that the charges were sustained after the consideration of the bank's reply and oral submissions during a personal hearing.
