State-owned gas utility GAIL (India) Ltd announced that it will set up a wind project in Maharashtra, with an estimated investment of ₹1,736.25 crore. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months from the award of the Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) contract. The company's shares closed at ₹169.75 on Friday and had an m-cap of ₹1.1 lakh crore.
