Former Singaporean diplomat Bilahari Kausikan said the US is unlikely to lift restrictions on Pakistan. He said, "America will not give Pakistan what it wants. America is not going to lift the restrictions it has on Pakistan. Because the fact is, Pakistan is a hotbed of all kinds of strange groups who are working against America's interests."
