Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP along with one independent member on Friday formed a group to stake claim in Ambernath Municipal Council by keeping the BJP away from power. Shiv Sena and NCP are allies in Mahayuti government helmed by BJP. Earlier, BJP and Congress had formed alliance to keep Shiv Sena out of power.
