China's Moonshot has made the world's largest open-weight AI model, Kimi K3, available for download by anyone, days after its launch rattled AI giants OpenAI and Anthropic. Anyone will now be able to download, tweak and host Kimi K3 freely, a move aimed at enhancing the model's user base. Moonshot plans to release K3's architecture, training and evaluation benchmarks later.
